  • Exceed customer expectations by anticipating, understanding, and meeting their needs.

Operations

  • Track and Trace TRANSCON inbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Enter data and shipment updates accurately, and timely.

  • Manage timely deliveries based on shipment requirements.

  • Account for all special handling requirements for value-added services.

  • Account for all pertinent shipment documentation.

  • Coordinate daily shipments with Service Providers to ensure operating procedures of the given customers and their requests and needs are fulfilled.

  • Coordinate an efficient and on-time communication with the customer´s other logistics service providers, such as Customs Brokers, to ensure timing for cross border process

  • Supports all pricing/quote requests for Inbound business into Mexico (U.S. & Canada branches, Sales & Account Management)

  • Develops effective interchange between MX and U.S. Service providers.

  • Search and create capacity at border to comply with dispatch and delivery time.

  • Monitor imbalance reports across the Region promoting rationalization.

  • Promotes Regional Service provider usage within the Transcon NA network.

  • Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company and Product procedures.

Customer, Expeditors Service Providers and other Logistics Service Providers

  • Access and follow all current customers’ standard operating procedures.

  • As necessary, communicate with the consignee professionally and clearly.

  • Execute a superior customer service experience.

  • Support the transition of new business/updates to existing business.

Finance

  • Maintain awareness of market competitive costs.

  • Support the audit of local service provider invoices.

  • Support the management of overtime, expenses, and cost.

  • Bilingual in Spanish & English.

  • Experience in Track & Trace, Monitoring and managing high volume daily operations.

  • Proactive communication with internal & external Customer, as well as Service Providers (Customer Service).

  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Critical thinking, including the ability to analyze a scenario and determine the best next actions.

  • Pro-active, self-starter.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Sense of urgency.

  • Multitasking Ability.

  • Flexibility/availability - Holidays, co-worker coverage, etc.

  • Desire for a long-term, growth oriented career in supply chain/logistics.

  • Exemplify the highest level or moral character. Doing the right thing, every time, no exceptions.

Operational or equivalent process related experience desired. Needs to be detailed-oriented. Must possess the ability to multi-task, work independently, and have excellent time management skills. Needs to work with data to identify issues and be supportive to operations to affect improvements. Good organizational and communication skills are essential.
