Responsibilities:

  • Accurately preparing and filing GST tax returns in a timely manner.

  • Developing tax strategies to assist company in being tax-compliant.

  • Identifying tax problems and developing solutions.

  • Handling audits and representing company during hearings.

  • Monitoring developments in tax legislation.

  • Reviewing and filing of Income Tax return.

  • Handling tax litigations.

  • Availment of Input Tax Credit, monthly reconciliation of GSTR - 2A/2B with books of account and ITC Registers.

  • Monthly reconciliation of books with GST filing.

  • Preparation and submission of data for any department queries on timely manner.

  • Assisting in GST refund filings and preparation of data.

  • Leading the changes in system as a result of amendment or decision to take different tax position.

  • Co-ordinating with branches & consolidating data for TDS payable reconciliation and monthly payments and assisting Tax Manager in filing quarterly returns.

  • Co-ordinating with branches for reconciliation of TDS receivable with 26AS annually.

  • Assisting Tax Manager in Annual GST, Tax & Stat audit conducted by statutory auditors.

  • Assisting Tax Manager in monthly reconciliation of total population of invoice generated in expo accounting with invoice generated in third party GST software.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 years of experience in MNC or Big4.

  • Proven experience as a tax professional or similar role.

  • Extensive knowledge of tax legislation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
