As an Air and LCL co-ordinator you will be responsible to co-ordinate the delivery of Air and LCL shipments in accordance with customer delivery instructions utilizing Expeditors approved transport providers whilst avoiding/minimising storage and detention charges. You will have the autonomy to provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally while applying the company standards and processes to effectively handle smooth deliveries, ensuring we are compliant with company, and government regulations, at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer Service: You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers and service providers to ensure a compliant and complete shipment process in a timely manner whilst documenting customer needs for future use and striving for excellence. 

  • Operational Excellence: You will take ownership of understanding and complying with Expeditors internal process standards, to complete timely, accurate and compliant deliveries, customer billings and system updates.

  • Service Provider Relationships: As an LCL coordinator you will build strong partnerships with Service Providers including shipping lines, transport companies, and freight yards to ensure you client is serviced to a high level.

  • Competent use of Microsoft Excel & Word

  • Experience with Expedient and the ICS system preferred but not necessary

  • Courteous communication and phone manner

  • Proactive approach to problem solving
